It's Official...I Have Made It!

Ok...well I guess I should say that my blog has made it. I have my first official blog stalker (at least that I know of) and my stalker even lives in another state (yes out of state stalkers are more prestigious than your every day, run of the mill in state stalkers…I know you were about to ask me that). Never mind the fact that I basically only have one regular commenter (thanks Mel), that means nothing now that I have a blog stalker. I must be important to merit having a blog stalker.

To my blog stalker (you know who you are) thanks so much for visiting and I am glad you enjoy my stories. However lets clear one thing up, while you do have it right that Melissa and I both love diet soda (it is one of God's greatest blessings), you have the direction thing all wrong. While it is true I cannot utilize a map, I am very good with directions in my normal surroundings. I have, as Danny likes to put it, a vast and odd knowledge of shopping centers. If you tell me a shopping center name, or one store in the center, in either the surrounding area of where I live or work, I can tell you all about that center, including (but not limited too) all the retail locations they have, where they are located and how you can get there. If something new is being built in one of "my" centers I will drive by it every day until I can figure out what the new place will be. I can take the trickiest of routes to places I go on a normal basis and never get lost. I am not saying any of the above things make me sound like a normal person, but we aren’t addressing that, we are addressing my skills when it comes to directions. Basically what I am saying is my directional capabilities in South Orange County are SUBERB!! Now if you ask me to travel outside my normal living area it would be fair to say that my directional skills are lacking.

Now I know that I got lost on my own school campus but let me clear that up for you. 1. I rarely ever go there; I try and take all my classes at the satellite campus, 2. I was running so late I just pulled in the campus parked and ran and 3. Did you catch the part where I said I was up at 6:45am on a Saturday!?!? I have the right to get lost for that fact alone. Hehehe.

As far as Melissa's directional "skills" I really don't even know where to start with that. I guess the best way to address it is that SHE HAS NONE!! She gets lost going to the same lunch places we have been going to for the last several years and it isn't like they are far... we are talking under five miles. Once I asked her for directions to her kids daycare...now keep in mind that she took him there every day and it is in the same city we work in and she couldn't tell me anything about how to get there. She really had no clue. I once tried to give her directions over the phone to a shopping center that is basically a straight shot from our office and under five miles away...boy was that a mistake...I think it took her an hour to get there. But from what I hear you already know that this isn't what we would call a strength of Melissa's. She has plenty of other strengths but I think we are safe to officially rule directions out. Sorry Melissa, you are still super cool but are totally directionally challenged.

Now if you would have said that Melissa and I are alike because we are both funny, nice (she more so than me), smart, controlling, strong, strange, entertaining or just cool people in general, I would have had to agree with you in a second but I must draw the line in comparing our driving skills. In this area I FAR outrank her. I am not saying I am top notch when it comes to directions but in comparison to Melissa...well I would be like the Einstein of directions.

Anyways my friendly little blog stalker, I just wanted to say thanks for stopping by my blog, it is nice to know that someone out there is reading it...it would be even extra nice if I really knew that I had additional readers because someone other than Melissa commented (hint, hint), BUT either way, WELCOME TO MY BLOG!!

In closing because I like each post to have at least one picture...me enjoying some delicious diet soda!! Seriously I think diet soda is GREAT!! My favorite, in case you were wondering, is fountain Diet Dr. Pepper!!

P.S.
Do you like the new format/template of my blog cause I think it rocks!!

Wait a second. So now that you have a blog stalker, I am shopped liver? What is that about. I am the ORIGINAL commenter.

And your direction thing is may not be as bad as mine (I don't think anyone has a sense of direction as bad as mine) you have a bit of an obsessive thing going on with shopping centers. That makes YOU more complicated than me. Hey, I can't take the blame for my lack of directions. My mom once drove to another state when she meant to go to Palm Springs. Don't ask me what state, cuz that would be a direction. :P You REALLY did have me laughing so hard. :)

The Einstein of directions???? LOL!!!!!YOU CRACK ME UP!!!!!

Ok. I guess I have to reveal myself to make if official. Hi! It's your friendly Boston Blog Stalker. Does this mean you are national now?

Anyway…your stories are very funny. Specially the comments under the pictures of the Horse Ball Toss game. Oh and the giant ice cream cone on your campus. Which brings me to the whole direction thing. You and Melissa SO have similar directional capabilities. I see now yours are a notch above hers (sorry Melissa) but still lacking.

Oh and the whole shopping center thing. That's just weird. But us Bostonians like quirks. Not as much as you and Melissa like Diet Dr Pepper or your love for cup cakes though.

I agree with all the traits you list that you both have in common but I think you may have one that Melissa doesn't Modesty. Lol!!!

Thanks for all the laughs!

P.S. I do like the new format.

GASP! I am personally offended and wounded to the core. What is this blasphamy about me not being modest? Huh???? Where did THAT come Stephen?

So a little birdie told me that I wasn't clear enough in my comment. Hmm Just another example of how alike you two are. Lol!!! So I was saying you (Heather) are NOT modest. As a joke based on "...entertaining or just cool people in general". LOL!!!! You (Melissa) are not included as you did not write the entry. Hope this clears things up and that there is no more "wounded to the core" Lol!!!
